Current members of LTER Network Committees are added as members of groups – and receive notifications related to those groups by default. Any user can update their notification settings in their profile. Users may also join and leave committee-related groups at will, by going to the groups page.
Joining the group provides easy access to committee discussions and events. Committee members may also invite others to their group if they have achieved a sufficient trust level. (Look for the “Invite” link at the top of the group page.) Committee chairs can be made group moderators. Ping @lno or @staff for additional information.
