NOMINATE AN EXPERT

Water and energy are deeply connected, and climate change will impact the water-energy connection in many ways. The National Academies is seeking nominations for experts to participate in a new study that will explore these complex interconnections and recommend ways to bolster the design and success of the Department of Energy’s research interests in Regional Energy-Water Demonstrations.

Nominations are requested for individuals with expertise in areas and disciplines such as:

  • Water resources (including quantity, quality, accessibility, cost, and safety)
  • Electricity generation
  • Industrial, residential, and agricultural water use
  • Regional planning and policy
  • Integrated modeling
