Supporting Teacher Learning in Data Jam: A Design-Based Research of Teacher Professional Development Model

The paper closely examines outcomes of a program of teacher professioal development based on the cognitive apprenticeship model and comes to the conclusion that more conceptual information needs to be integrated into the PD model.

Should be useful background for those working on data literacy generally and data jams in particular, as well as the various RET efforts across the network.
